I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a short animation of an idea that I had that takes place on a cruise ship. The woman who appeared in the Popsicles and Tacos cartoon was originally drawn the be in the cruise ship cartoon. Anyhow, I figured while I was trying to figure it out I might as well get started making the ship. I need to make another image but from a different angle now.
Oh, and I almost exclusively used the pen tool on this image, I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of it.
a windy hair gif i made this morning while drinking my coffee.
sketchbook - notes edited out
this little guy goes with the house image that i posted yesterday. hopefully a super super short new animation will be done by the end of the weekend.
messing around with the background with this house. changing window colors, etc.
the sky matches the sky in that last super short animation i posted the other day, with the woman talking about peter dinklage and dropping SOME SUPER MAJOR GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Working on a background image of a house. The ground and sky in this image won’t be the one used, it’s just for me so the house pops out more while I decide a few things.
I made this using only the pen tool. practice practice practice. I think it looks pretty good!
I’m looking forward to making the animation that this house’ll be used in. It’ll be both very short and also stupid.
My next big animation project at work, as opposed to this image for an animation in which I’ll be making at home, uses images made almost totally with the pen tool. Soooo I’m trying to get used to it.
