I’ve been learning the pen tool in photoshop, which is funny, seeing how I’ve used photoshop forever. But from what I’m finding out this is pretty common, nobody ever uses the pen tool. Well, you know what I mean.

Anyhow, this little gif is made using the lasso tool. I wanted to see if had some of the same things that the pen tool had. I should have, but didn’t, use the shape tool too.

This is kind of a dumb gif, you know, I was just testing things.

I’m getting ready to start a new animation project at my morning… internship or training or whatever it is. Like the short lip sync animation I made with the two women speaking, one in French and one in English, it won’t have any outlines and I wanted to start testing different ways to make the images for it.

I made a new cartoon!

I really hope you like it!

This is a simple background that I made for an animation I’ve been working on. The project should be done in the next day or so. I’ve had so much fun making it, I can’t wait until its finished!

I made this animation. I decided to use meaningless audio so I was only spending time concentrating on actually lip syncing to sound and animating their bodies and the background.

The lip syncing is a little rough. I need to practice more.

In this video I tried to figure out precomposing, pick wiping, parenting, nesting, changing audio to keyframes, pivot points, puppet pins, easy ease, and I don’t even remember everything else. Tons of stuff.

So I’ve been learning animation in after effects for three months now and I love love love it.

I’ve got some more practice projects that I’ll be finishing up soon and posting. The more practice projects, the better the real projects will be down the road, well, hopefully.
